There are four Betway Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches happening on 31 January 2026. Below we have them all covered with the odds and best bets for each.

Marumo Gallants vs AmaZulu
Orlando Pirates vs Magesi
Polokwane City vs Orbit College
Verdict

There are two 15:30 kick offs with Chippa United hosting Durban City and AmaZulu traveling to Marumo Gallants. At 18:00 Orlando Pirates host Magesi and at the same time Polokwane City and Orbit College face off.

Chippa United vs Durban City

Chippa United are under huge pressure with only two wins this season. They have 12 points, one ahead of bottom placed Magesi. Chippa will need a few more results get climb out of trouble. They are priced at 3.40 to win here at home.

Durban City are enjoying a superb first season in the PSL. They are sixth after 16 games with seven wins, four draws and five losses. On 25 points, the Durban side are all but secure of their place in the PSL next season. They are priced at 2.25 to win with the draw paying 2.80.

Verdict: Chippa will be desperate at home and Durban City, while being good this season, are not particularly full of goals. I fancy a draw in this game.

Marumo Gallants vs AmaZulu

Marumo Gallants are down in 13th place in the PSL with just three wins in 16 PSL fixtures. There is just a three-point gap to the relegation zone, so Gallants will need to put their foot down. Gallants are valued at 2.62 to win with the draw at 2.80.

AmaZulu are flying high this season in fourth place with eight wins from 15 games. They are on 27 points, just five behind table toppers, Sundowns. Usotho are paying 2.80 to win.

Verdict: Chippa are favourites but with just two wins this season, I find little value in backing a home win. A draw here also looks a good option.

Orlando Pirates vs Magesi

Orlando Pirates are third on the table, just three points off Sundowns at the top but the Buccaneers do have two games in hand on them and on archrivals, Kaizer Chiefs in second place. Pirates are huge favourites at 1.36.

Magesi are bottom of the table in teh PSL with just 11 points, but they do have two games in hand on most teams above them. A positive result here could send them out of relegation. They are priced at 10.00 to win with a draw valued at 3.90.

Verdict: Pirates should win but at 1.36, I wouldn't be putting my house on it. Under 2.5 goals at 1.91 is my best bet here.

Polokwane City vs Orbit College

Polokwane City are enjoying another successful PSL campaign, currently in eighth place with six wins in 15 games. With 23 points, Polokwane City can still push for higher honours in the league this season.

Orbit College are just above the relegation zone in 14th place with 13 points. They have four victories this year, but the 11 defeats have hurt them. They have only had one draw.
