Getafe entertain Real Sociedad at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez on Monday night. Just two points separate the two clubs on the La Liga table, with both sides struggling after the lockdown break. A low scoring stalemate is being tipped for this one.

Getafe have managed to secure just three points from four matches since returning from the lockdown break. They returned with a 2-1 loss at Granada before a 0-0 draw on home soil with Espanyol. Another home draw followed, this time a 1-1 with Eibar.

Real Sociedad have been very disappointing since returning to La Liga action. Since the lockdown break came to an end, Sociedad have drawn 1-1 at home with Osasuna and followed that up with a 2-0 defeat at Deportivo Alaves.

Another two losses followed at home – first against Real Madrid 2-1 and then 1-0 against Celta Vigo. It was a very poor performance from Real Sociedad, in which they struggled in attack. Boss Imanol Alguacil will demand more in this encounter.

Real Sociedad will have to continue in the absence of left winger Ander Barrenetxea and central midfielders Luca Sangalli, Asier Illarramendi and Ander Guevara.
