Kaizer Chiefs vs TS Galaxy Predictions - Extra Time Needed after Carling Knockout Stalemate

Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy face off in a PSL clash, with both teams currently enduring poor runs of form. Chiefs have drawn five of their last six league matches and have struggled offensively, while TS Galaxy have just two wins in their last twenty matches. Historically, nine of their fourteen meetings have ended in draws. Based on recent performances and head-to-head records, the article predicts a 0-0 draw with under 1.5 goals.

Kaizer Chiefs vs TS Galaxy Predictions

Chiefs are struggling to win matches and TS Galaxy are in dire form. I see this match ending in a stalemate with Under 1.5 goals. I’m tipping a 0-0 draw in regulation time.

Key Stats – Stalemate on the Cards

  • Kaizer Chiefs have drawn 5 of their last 6 PSL matches.
  • Kaizer Chiefs have drawn 9 of their 14 matches vs TS Galaxy.
  • TS Galaxy have drawn 7 of their last 13 PSL matches.
  • TS Galaxy have seen Under 1.5 goals in 9 of their last 14 matches vs Kaizer Chiefs.

Head to Head – Chiefs Have Just Two Wins in 14

TS Galaxy hold a 3-2 advantage over Chiefs across 14 meetings. Nine of their 14 clashes have ended in draws.

Chiefs won 2-0 at home when the clubs met in April 2026.

Chiefs Form – Five Draws in Six League Matches

Kaizer Chiefs have drawn five of their last six league matches. Their last match saw the club eliminated for the CAF Confederations Cup in the qualifying rounds.

Chiefs drew 1-1 away at Polokwane City and at Golden Arrows with just one shot on target. A 1-1 home draw vs Stellenbosch preceded a 1-0 defeat to Red Arrows in Zambia in their CAF first leg.

On Friday, they beat Red Arrows 1-0 in the second leg. That result sent the match to penalties, where Amakhosi were knocked out.

Galaxy Form – Just Two Wins in 20 Matches

TS Galaxy have won just twice in their last 20 matches. They drew seven of ten PSL fixtures before three defeats on the bounce.

A much-needed 3-2 win at Marumo Gallants preceded a 0-0 draw at Sekhukhune United and a 1-0 home loss to Kruger United. A toothless display saw a 1-0 home loss vs Chippa United.

The Rockets were beaten 3-0 at Orlando Pirates in their last match. They allowed 2.08 xG and only produced 0.48 xG going forward.

Predicted Lineups & Team News

Kaizer Chiefs (4-2-3-1): Bvuma; Frosler, Moloisane, Miguel, Cross; Mthethwa, Maboe; Vilakazi, Shabalala, Mmodi; Duba.

Goalkeeper Brandon Petersen is back from injury but fellow ‘keeper Renaldo Leaner is ruled out. Thabiso Monyane is absent at right back.

Adolf Mtasingwa and Siphesihle Ndlovu are injured in midfield but Lebohang Maboe is available to start. Left winger Langelihle Phili is absent with an ankle injury.

TS Galaxy (4-5-1): Tape; Fisher, Zulu, Mncwango, Ngobeni; Zindoga, Mvelase, Mbunjana, Nkosi, Mahlambi; Letsoalo.

New coach Admir Adzem may look to switch to a back four to arrest the side’s dire form. Centre back Macbeth Mahlangu is available again after injury.

Key winger Seluleko Mahlambi was dropped for the last match. He looks certain to return down the left flank here.

Verdict

I see this ending in a draw with Under 1.5 goals in the match.
