Last week was a one-sided affair in Spain with Barcenlona emerging 4-0 victors. They should see it out this week, but Dortmund, in front of their own fans, are likely going to come storming out of the blocks. Expect loads of goals in this one.

Borussia Dortmund remain inconsistent with the club currently sitting eighth in the Bundesliga. Defensive vulnerabilities have been evident, they haven’t kept a clean sheet in eight games.

Niko Kovač took over in February and there were some promising signs in late March. Maximilian Beier scored twice in a 3-1 win against Mainz and registered two assists in a 4-1 victory in Freiburg.

The Black and Yellows are on the verge of a quarter-final exit in the Champions League. They suffered a 4-0 defeat at Barcelona in the first leg, emphasising their defensive woes against top teams.

Dortmund drew 2-2 draw at Bayern Munich on Saturday. Beier opened the scoring early in the second half but Bayern took the lead, Waldemar Anton equalising in the 75th minute.

Barcelona Form

Barcelona have won nine of their last 10 games and are unbeaten in 24 consecutive matches this year. Their impressive form has propelled them to the top of La Liga, four-points ahead of Real Madrid.

Hansi Flick is making the most of an attack that features Raphinha, Robert Lewandowski and 17-year-old Lamine Yamal. Raphinha has contributed 25 goals and 15 assists, Yamal 14 goals while Lewandowski leads the scoring charts with 40 goals.

The Blaugrana delivered a commanding 4-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League last week. Raphinha scored and added two assists, equaling Lionel Messi's record for goal involvements in a single Champions League season with 19.

Barcelona are still alive in three competitions with a Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid looming on April 26. The Catalans secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Leganes on Saturday, going ahead through an own goal in the 48th minute when Jorge Sáenz turned Raphinha's cross into his own net.

Emre Can is a doubt after missing recent training sessions. Pascal Gross is available after suspension.

Goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen remains sidelined long-term alongside midfielders Marc Casadó and Marc Bernal.

Left-back Alejandro Balde is out with a hamstring injury, Gerard Martín to start. Dani Olmo has been included in the squad after recovering from an adductor injury and could be an option off the bench.
