Champions League predictions - 5 November 2025, Round 4

Atalanta have drawn five and lost one of their last six games, scoring just three goals, and have won just two of their 10 matches in the Series A this season. Marseille are pushing PSG at the top of Ligue 1 and have won six of their last nine matches, so this looks like an easy call for the flying Frenchmen.

Galatasaray have won nine and drawn two of their 11 matches in 1.Lig and have won two of their three matches in the Champions League. Ajax have won just five of their 11 matches in the Eredivisie and have lost three of their last six matches (one win). Ajax are stone last in the Champions League, losing all three of their matches with a 1:11 goal aggregate. They have lost to Inter (2-0), Marseille (4-0) and Chelsea (5-1), so I’m imagining headlines of another big loss.  

Inter are on fire, winning three from three to share top spot in the Champions League. Kairat Almaty have drawn one and lost two and lie in 34th spot, although domestically they are top of the Premier League with a 53:19 goal breakdown. This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides, but with Inter having won eight of the last 10 matches (L 2) with 23 goals to eight, I’m seeing a goal avalanche to please the 80,000 faithful at the San Siro.

Dortmund have won six of their nine matches in the Bundesliga but will no doubt be worried about facing up to their former goal-scoring machine, Erling Haaland, who leads the Premier League Golden Boot race with 13 goals, more than double that of the chasing pack. Both sides have lost just one in 12 (W 9, D 2, L1) so this should be a humdinger. Their last match was a 0-0 draw at Dortmund (Riyad Mahrez missing a penalty!), but City won each of their previous three meetings 2-1… but with only one of those six goals coming from Haaland. A 2-1 bet sounds too good to pass up!
