FCSB are eighth in the Europa League group after taking 14 points from seven games. The Romanian side are unbeaten in four consecutive European matches, drawing and winning two.

The Red and Blues extended their unbeaten home run in all competitions to 11 with a 1-1 draw against Hermannstadt. FCSB followed that result with a 3-2 away win at Qarabag to boost their Europa League qualification hopes.

Elias Charalambous’ side won again on Sunday, defeating UTA Arad 1-0 away. Florin Tanase struck the winner after 63 minutes as FCSB dominated with 65% possession. 

FCSB Injuries


Attackers Darius Olaru and Octavian Popescu and midfielder Mihai Lixandru are sidelined due to injury. 

Man United Form 


Man United are one point ahead of FCSB in the Europa League and unbeaten in seven matches. United drew their first two matches at FC Porto 3-3 and Fenerbahce 1-1 before winning four in a row.

Ruben Amorim’s side are in patchy long-term form, winning just three of their previous 10 in all competitions. They edged Rangers 2-1 in their most recent Europa League match as Bruno Fernandes’ injury-time winner prevented a draw.

The Red Devils followed that result with a 1-0 victory at Fulham. United had just 0.2 XG and Lisandro Martinez scored the winner with 13 minutes left. 

Man United Injuries


Defenders Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw will miss out on Thursday due to injury.

Midfielder Mason Mount is also unavailable with a long-term injury.

FCSB have shown their strength in the Europa League this season and are strong at home. The Romanian side can hold or defeat an unthreatening Man United side at the National Arena
