Marizanne Kapp’s 12 off six balls had the Proteas well placed at 82/3 in the 12th over before they collapsed, with none of their last six batters reaching double figures.

Pakistan have been frustrated by two abandoned matches in their last five contests but lost their other three matches, including their opener in the World Cup against India.

Pakistan’s bowlers did well to keep India to 110/4 in the 15th over, with Sadia Iqbal (2/41) and Fatima Sana (2/33) both picking up top order wickets.

Muneeba Ali (41 off 35), Gull Feroza (12 off 9) and Ayesha Zafar (12 off 8) took Pakistan to 75/3 before they lost their last seven wickets for 31 runs to go down by 64 runs.
