Proteas batting a key strength

Skipper Laura Wolvaardt and Tazmin Brits have both starred with the bat in the last two T20 World Cups. Wolvaardt was the top run scorer in 2023 (230 runs) and 2024 (223 runs), while Brits was second-highest in 2024 (187 runs) and fifth in 2023 (189 runs).

Sune Luus, Dane van Niekerk, Nadine de Klerk, Marizanne Kapp and Chloe Tryon make up the rest of what is one of the strongest batting line-ups in the tournament.
