The West Indies have the momentum after their impressive 90-run win in the 1st Test and will be looking to secure a 2-0 series victory by winning the last match of the short series. Pakistan last won at the Queen’s Park Oval in 1077.

West Indies will be confident of securing another home series win after their comfortable victory over Pakistan in the opening Test.

With the bat, they will look to Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Amir Jangoo, Brandon King, Shai Hope, Kavem Hodge and captain Roston Chase to provide the bulk of the runs. In the 1st Test, Hope and Justin Greaves both scored half-centuries to help West Indies post a useful first-innings total.

Their second innings was less convincing, as they were bowled out for 181 in 54.5 overs. Shamar Joseph added late momentum with 38 off 27 balls, including one four and four sixes, while Chanderpaul battled hard for 35 from 101 deliveries.

The bowling attack will again be central to their chances. Kemar Roach, Jayden Seales, Greaves and Joseph form a strong pace group, with Greaves starring in the 1st Test by taking seven wickets. Seales also impressed with a five-wicket haul as West Indies sealed an important win.

Pakistan Form

Pakistan are expected to make changes for the must-win 2nd Test in Trinidad, with Abdullah Fazal, Saud Shakeel and Sajid Khan set to come in for Azan Awais, Shan Masood and Ali Usman.

Masood, who scored a century in the 1st Test, is expected to miss the Port of Spain match after suffering a fractured finger.

The visitors will rely heavily on Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Abdullah Fazal, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha for runs. In the first innings, Masood played superbly for his hundred, hitting 12 fours, while Imam supported him well with 63 off 102 balls.

However, Pakistan struggled badly in the chase of 210 on a difficult surface and were bowled out for 120 in 40.2 overs. Babar fought alone with an unbeaten 58 from 107 balls, striking nine fours.

With the ball, Pakistan will look to Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Ali, Khurram Shahzad, Aamer Jamal and Sajid Khan for breakthroughs. Abbas, Shahzad and Ali were impressive in the 1st Test, sharing 18 wickets between them.
