The Rockets have had a terrific season, ending level on top of the table with the Oval Invincibles as they chase a second The Hundred title. With four wins from their last five matches, they are my pick to win the Eliminator.

The Superchargers struggled to 73/5 against tight bowling from the Originals. David Miller (30 off 22) was the only top six batter to pass 20, with number seven Samit Patel slamming 42 off 19 balls to lift the Superchargers to 139/8 off their 100 balls.

Jacob Duffy (1/16, econ 1.06) and Tom Lawes (1/20, econ 1.33) struck two early blows to give the Superchargers hope, but the Originals raced to a seven-wicket win off just 84 balls.

The Superchargers have a power-packed batting unit that has put good runs on the board this campaign. They will be banking on their bowlers to rock the Rockets to give their batters the chance to drive them into the final.

Trent Rockets Form

The Rockets made it four wins from their last five games, including winning their last two games on the bounce. The Rockets followed up their three-wicket win over the Welsh Fire with a three-wicket victory over the Birmingham Phoenix.

The Rockets bowled superbly to limit the Phoenix to just 111/9 off their 100 balls. Rehan Ahmed (3/15, econ 0.75) knocked over three of the Phoenix top seven batters, backed by excellent bowling from Ben Sanderson (2/26, econ 1.73) and George Linde (2/12, econ 0.80).

Joe Root (25 off 25) and Rehan Ahmed (37 off 23) got the chase off to a solid start, but they struggled against tight bowling in the second half of their innings before squeezing home for a three-wicket win with one ball to spare.
