Fiji were outplayed in the second half of their Nations Championship opener against Wales last weekend, losing 39-24 after the score was 10-10 at half-time.
Before that result, the Flying Fijians played three matches during the Autumn Nations Series towards the end of last year. They lost 38-18 to England and 34-21 to France before beating Spain 33-4.
The Pacific Islanders had an excellent campaign at the 2025 Pacific Nations Cup. They defeated Tonga 32-10 and Samoa 29-15 in the group stages before beating Canada 63-10 in the semi-finals and Japan 33-2 in the final.
Fiji have a tough assignment to overcome in their second Nations Championship match against England, as they have a poor record against their opponents, having lost eight of their nine clashes.

England came away empty-handed in their opening Nations Championship match against South Africa last weekend, losing 45-21 to the Springboks after trailing 17-14 at the break.
England started this year's Six Nations Championship well, thumping Wales 48-7 before losing 31-20 to Scotland, 42-21 to Ireland, 23-18 to Italy, and 48-46 to France to finish a disappointing fifth overall.
Before that, England were in fine form during last year's Autumn Nations Series. They beat Australia 25-7, Fiji 38-18, New Zealand 33-19, and Argentina 27-23.
England did not achieve their desired outcome in their opening match, but will start confidently against Fiji, having defeated their opponents 38-18 last year.
