Scotland vs Italy U-20 Predictions - Scots backed for victory in U20 Six Nations
Scotland U-20 is aiming for improvement following a disappointing run in 2024, which saw them lose all their Six Nations matches and miss the World Rugby Championships. With young talent in the squad, they hope for better success against Italy U-20. Meanwhile, the Italian team, buoyed by last year's solid performances, including a fourth-place Six Nations finish, look to build on their momentum. Despite inconsistencies in the U-20 World Championships, Italy boasts experienced players to guide their new members. Scotland is tipped to cover the -3.5 handicap.

The Italians beat Scotland U20 47-14 in the 2024 Six Nations.
Scotland U-20 Form
Scotland U-20 will be looking for a much better 2025 after a poor year in 2024. The Scots finished bottom of the U20 Six Nations, losing all five matches and ended with a solitary bonus point.
To add to that, the Scots also didn’t qualify for the U20 World Rugby Championships hosted in South Africa, instead, they had to play in the second-tier tournament.
The Scots only point in the Six Nations last season came on the opening weekend when they lost 37-29 in Wales. That was for a four-try bonus point. Thereafter, they lost all games with relative comfort.
Scotland U-20 Injuries & Team News
There are many new faces in the Scottish setup this season. With that, they will hope there are better fortunes.
Italy U-20 Form
Italian rugby is on the rise at all levels. Their senior team has been performing well over the last 12 months and the U20’s managed a fourth-place finish in the 2024 Six Nations.
Italy lost by a point in Ireland before beating France 23-20 away from home. That was an incredible result when you considered that France went on to win the U20 World Championships later in the year.
That victory was backed up with a convincing 47-14 victory over Scotland at home, but a week later the Italians lost 27-15 in Wales, a game they really would have fancied winning.
Italy failed to back these performances up in the U20 World Championships as they finished in 11th place.
Italy U-20 Injuries & Team News
Italy still have some players from last season and they will have to bring the experience to the younger crop coming through in 2025.

Scotland are backed to cover the -3.5 handicap.
