Mamelodi Sundowns drew 1-1 away in Congo vs Saint Eloi Lupopo on Sunday. Below are the player ratings for the Sundowns starting XI and subs.

Ronwen Williams: 6

The Bafana Bafana goalkeeper had a quiet afternoon as he did not make a single save. He was a tad fortunate in the first half after coming off his line, only to be saved by an offside flag against the attacker.

Khuliso Mudua: 6

The speedy fullback was good in his one-versus-one actions. However, he was out of position of the goal as the ball was played behind him.

Grant Kekana: 7

The veteran defender struggled in the high defensive line in the first half. He was more solid after the break.

Khulumani Ndamane: 8

The young defender made eight clearances, including five with his head. His physicality was key in the second half.

Aubrey Modiba: 8 - Man of the Match

With an assist and five chances created, he was the key weapon going forward. He dealt well with his defensive duties in a left wingback role.

Thapelo Morena: 6

The speedy wide player gave a good outlet to the team. His first choice was excellent and he delivered some teasing crosses into the area.

Teboho Mokoena: 6

He was physically and got stuck in well. On an artificial surface, we did not see his usual range of passing.

Jayden Adams: 7

The midfield was a surprise starter for this match. He competed well, passed accurately and scored a brilliant headed equaliser from a corner.

Nuno Santos: 5

The Portuguese midfielder had little influence on the game. He was booked early and will miss the next match. His form has taken a major dip since the mid-season break.

Arthur Sales: 5

The number ten struggled to make any impact on a poor playing surface. His workrate was good for the team.

Peter Shalulile: 4

The striker has no service and just one touch in the opposition half. A knock to his lower back ended his afternoon early.

Substitutes:

Brayan Leon: 5

The Colombian striker came on in the 50th minute. He worked hard and caused the defenders problems with his physicality.

Tashreeq Matthews: 4

He made a mess of a late chance and was caught on the ball several times. He is now on a run of just one goal contribution in his last 11 outings.

Marcelo Allende: 5

He came on in the 82nd minute and had little influence on the match.

Iqraam Rayners: 5

The striker looked rusty, but he still managed a shot and several touches in the box as he threatened to nick a late winner.
