English Premier League Predictions - 1 February 2026, Matchday 24

In a thrilling lineup of Premier League fixtures, Aston Villa is projected to secure a commanding victory over Brentford, while Manchester United and Fulham are predicted to provide a high-scoring affair for fans. Erling Haaland stands out as a key figure in Manchester City's clash against Tottenham, expected to score twice and lead his team to an emphatic away victory. Nottingham Forest is also anticipated to capitalize on Crystal Palace's struggles away from home, predicting a decisive win. These games promise excitement and goals galore for football enthusiasts.

English Premier League predictions, Matchday 24

Aston Villa vs Brentford


Brentford are up in 8th spot and won’t be a pushover, especially as both sides have won two, drawn one and lost one of their last five games. Brentford notched up five wins and a draw before losing their last two games without scoring, including a 2-0 defeat against struggling Notts Forest.

Villa have won seven of their last 10 games, winning their last two games on the bounce. Villa lost their last home game 1-0 to Everton but had won their previous 11 at home, scoring 23 times. Brentford have five losses and two wins in their last nine road trips in the League, scoring just seven goals. They also failed to score five times, so I’m backing a home win to nil.

Man United vs Fulham


Fulham will be loving their current season, but Man United fans are also enjoying matchdays again. United have lost just one of their last seven games, but the big news is that they beat the top two sides in their last two matches. They beat Man City 2-0 at home then went to leaders Arsenal and stole a 3-2 win away from home.

United are huge favourites although Fulham’s win record is better than their hosts, with the London side rocketing up to seventh in the table and in sight of Europe. Fulham have won five and drawn two of their least eight games, although The Cottagers' away record has a few more holes in it. Both teams are full of goals so I’m backing a day of many goal celebrations as both sides have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Tottenham vs Man City


Spurs are flirting with the drop zone and need to start stacking up points, but it’s not a good time to be playing a Man City side that looks to have turned a corner after a relatively barren patch for them, including goal-magnet Erling Haaland. 

City have lost just two in 17, winning 12, while Spurs have won just three of their last 10. Their home form isn’t great, with The Lilywhites losing four, drawing two and winning one of their last seven domestic home games. City won five and drew one of their six matches on the road prior to losing back-to-back against Man United and Bodo/Glimt, but having won their last two games I think they will take Spurs down, and with Haaland back at the goals table I’m backing him for a double strike.

Notts Forest vs Crystal Palace


Forest are five points clear of the drop zone, with Palace three points ahead of them, but the trap door doesn’t shut in February, so both sides will be big-time motivated to push for points. Palace looked bright early in the season but their 2025/26 campaign has imploded recently as they’ve plummetted down the table. The London side haven’t won in 11 matches, losing eight, including their last three on the bounce. 

Forest aren’t in great form but at home they have won four and drawn two of their last nine games, while Palace have lost their last five on the road. Forest have scored two or more goals in five of their last home games, while Palace have scored 13 goals in their last 10 matches, so with both sides desperate for points I’m backing a goal glut.

Verdict

Aston Villa to shut out Brentford, while Man United and Fulham to entertain the crowds with goals.

Haaland to score twice as City take a big away win over Spurs, while Forest should have the muscle to turn poor travellers Palace over.
