Brighton vs Leeds

One point separates the two sides stuck in the bottom third of the table. Their last six clashes in the League have seen Brighton win three times and the other three matches end in a draw. Brighton have lost their last two matches (Arsenal and Man United) but pulled off a great 3-1 away win over Chelsea a month ago. Leeds’ two recent wins were against the bottom two teams in the League, so I’m sniffing a third loss in four matches for Leeds.

Crystal Palace vs Brentford

No 10 plays No 11, both on 13 points. Palace have lost three, drawn one and won one of their last five matches, but they will be bouyed by beating Liverpool 2-1 in the League and 3-0 in the League Cup, as well as losing just 1-0 away to Arsenal. Brentford have won four of their last five, including beating Liverpool, scoring 13 goals in those four wins. This could be a cracker as they both go at each other, so expect it to be raining goals.

Fulham vs Wolves

Winless Wolves travel to Fulham to face another defeat to make it four in a row. Fulham hit three wins in a row in September, only to soak up four defeats after that before beating Wycombe in the League Cup. They have won four of their last five matches at home, and it could have been five as the last of those matches saw them hold Arsenal for 58 minutes before the Gunners scrambled the only goal of the match 'off the knee'.

Liverpool vs Aston Villa

Villa have caught up to Liverpool on 15 points after the Reds’ horror run of six defeats in seven matches, and five Premier League matches on the bounce. Villa pulled off a magnificent win at home to Man City so they’ll be revved. Can Liverpool keep losing, I ask… then I wonder… can they start winning? They could bounce back at any moment, but this looks like a low score draw as neither side is full of goals.

Brighton to put Leeds away with a couple of goals, and there’s a goalfest loading at Crystal Palace.

Wolves to lose again and Liverpool to finally pull out a point in the EPL.
