Manchester United kick off their Premier League season with a clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening. The Red Devils have had a short pre-season due to their involvement in the UEFA Europa League last month, so this could be an interesting encounter.

Crystal Palace struggled at the end of last season, winning none of their last eight fixtures and losing seven.

Encouragingly, Roy Hodgson's side went unbeaten in five pre-season friendly clashes.

That form was carried into their Premier League opener last weekend when they won 1-0 at home against Southampton. Wilfried Zaha scored the only goal of the game.

The Eagles were knocked out of the League Cup in the second round by Bournemouth on Tuesday. The match ended 0-0 with winning 11-10 in the penalty shootout.
