Manchester City are odds-on favourite to retain the English Premier League title. Should they indeed do that it will be their fourth EPL title in five years.
Last season City fought back from 2-0 down on the final day to beat Aston Villa 3-2. With 15 minutes to play it looked like the title would head to Liverpool but a dramatic final few minutes saw Pep Guardiola’s side clinch it.
Bookmaker bet.co.za have City priced at 1.57 to win the 38-game season. Liverpool come in at 3.00 as the bookies expect another two horse race.
Surprisingly, Tottenham are third favourites at 15.00. It is difficult to write Spurs off completely with Antonio Conte at the helm. Chelsea follow closely behind at 17.00.
Manchester United are expected to improve this season under Erik ten Haag but they have not done enough in the transfer window as yet to give the bookies any confidence. They are paying 29.00 for the Red Devils to win.
