Tottenham Hotspur opened the new season with a dramatic UEFA Super Cup loss to PSG, where they squandered a 2-0 lead and eventually went down on penalties.

Thomas Frank’s side have been excellent in the Premier League so far. They began with a 3-0 home win over Burnley, Richarlison netting twice and Brennan Johnson also scoring.

Spurs then caused a major upset last weekend at the Etihad, beating Manchester City 2-0. Johnson struck in the 35th minute before Joao Palhinha added a second ten minutes later.

Bournemouth Form

Bournemouth put up a strong fight at Anfield in the opening round, holding Liverpool to a 2-2 scoreline until the 88th minute before conceding twice late on. Antoine Semenyo bagged a brace in that game.

The Cherries responded well in their home debut, beating Wolves 1-0 thanks to an early Marcus Tavernier goal in the 4th minute.

Andoni Iraola rotated heavily for the mid-week League Cup clash against Brentford, which ended in a 2-0 defeat. Despite 65% possession, 18 shots and 1.71 xG, they were unable to find the net.

Tottenham v Bournemouth

Bournemouth carry strong scoring potential, but also struggle in their road games against Tottenham. I am backing red-hot Spurs to win here with BTTS and Richarlison to score his 3rd goal this season.
