Chad vs Mali Predictions - Mali set for crucial win in World Cup qualifier
Chad and Mali clash in a crucial World Cup qualifier. Chad sit at the bottom of Group I with just one point, despite some improved performances, including a shock draw with Ghana. Mali, fourth in the group, remain in the hunt for qualification and will be aiming to secure a vital win. Mali previously defeated Chad 3-1 and have shown stronger form recently. The best bet is for both teams to score, with Mali favored to win, as they need maximum points from their final two games to keep qualification hopes alive.
- Chad have lost 7 of 8 World Cup qualifiers and conceded 19 goals.
- Mali beat Chad 3-1 earlier in the group stage.
- Mali still in contention, aiming for wins in their final two qualifiers.

Chad vs Mali Predictions
Mali isn’t in particularly good form, but they did perform well in their last two World Cup qualifiers, despite not getting the result in Ghana. My best bet is BTTS with a Mali victory.

Head to Head
When these two met earlier in the group stage, Mali won the game 3-1 on home soil.
Chad Form
Chad are bottom of Group I in the Africa World Cup qualifiers with two game to play. They have one point with seven defeats and one draw in eight fixtures.
While their form has not been great in terms of results, Chad have actually been quite competitive in their most recent games. They lost just 1-0 at Comoros in qualification before drawing 0-0 at home against Kenya in a friendly.
In September’s World Cup qualifiers, Chad stunned everyone when they held Ghana to a 1-1 draw at home, picking up their only point of the competition to date. They couldn’t back it up a few days later though, losing 3-1 in Madagascar.
Mali Form
Mali’s hopes of qualification is still alive with two games in the group to play. They are fourth on the table with 12 points, three behind third place Comoros and four behind Madagascar.
Next week, in their final qualifier, Mali host Madagascar, which will be a humdinger of a game in the latter drops points this week and Mali win.
Mali beat Comoros 3-0 at home in their first September qualifier before going down 1-0 in Ghana. Both performances were strong from Mali and they will hope to repeat that in their final two games, although they likely need two wins.
