Mauritius vs Cameroon Predictions - Cameroon to remain second with victory
Cameroon head into their World Cup qualifier against Mauritius as clear favorites, having previously beaten them 3-0 in the campaign. Mauritius have struggled in qualification, with only one win in ten matches and sitting fifth in Group D. Cameroon, currently second in the group with just two qualifiers left, need all three points to keep their World Cup hopes alive, especially with a tough fixture against Angola coming up. Expect a narrow, low-scoring win for Cameroon.
- Cameroon are favored after a previous 3-0 win against Mauritius.
- Mauritius have lost 4 of their last 5 qualifiers and scored just 1 goal.

Head to Head
Camerron played Mauritius at home on 17 November 2023, winning the game 3-0. That was part of this same qualification campaign.
Mauritius Form
Mauritius have put in some strong performances during this World Cup qualifying campaign, they simply haven’t had the quality to get enough results. They are fifth in Group D with just one win, two draws and five defeats in 10 matches.
While qualification is no longer possible, the hosts will want to upset the applecart on home soil. In September, during their last two qualifiers, Mauritius lost 2-0 at home to Cape Verde and 3-1 in Angola.
After going behind in the 17th minute, William Joseph Francois leveled matters in the 21st minute against Angola. Two second half goals, however, saw Angola take all three points.
Cameroon Form
Cameroon are under huge pressure going into this fixture. There are only two more qualifiers left, and they are second on the table, four points off Cape Verde at the top and one clear of Libya.
With a tough game at home to Angola to come, the Indomitable Lions will be desperate to get all three points in this match. In September, Cameroon beat Eswatini 3-0 at home in a convincing display.
However, a few days later, in their last game, Cameroon went down 1-0 away to Cape Verde, which is what allowed the islanders to build a four-point buffer.
