Head to Head

Madagascar Form

Madagascar had mixed fortunes in their last two FIFA World Cup qualifiers in October, defeating Comoros 2-1 before losing 4-1 to Mali.

Before that, Madagascar beat the Central African Republic 2-0 and Chad 3-1 in World Cup qualifying matches in September.

The Bareas have won three of their last five fixtures, including two defeats. They scored 11 goals and conceded nine.

Madagascar will fancy their chances to beat Equatorial Guinea again after recording three consecutive victories against three opponents.

Equatorial Guinea Form

Equatorial Guinea recorded their first victory in four outings after edging Kenya 1-0 in an international friendly last weekend.

Kenya created the most chances in the first half, but it was Equatorial Guinea who grabbed the lead in the second minute of stoppage time, which was the winning goal.

Before that, Equatorial Guinea defeated Sao Tome & Principe 3-2, lost 1-0 to Tunisia, 3-0 to Malawi and drew 1-1 with Liberia in FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September and October.
