Algeria cruised to an easy 3-1 victory against Zimbabwe last week, winning by three goals to one.

Algeria were in great touch in the first half against Zimbabwe, scoring in the 14th, 41st and 46th minutes of the match to lead 3-0 at the break.

Algeria had chances to extend their advantage in the second half before Zimbabwe pulled a goal back after 88 minutes of play. 

Algeria defeated Botswana 3-1, drew 0-0 with Guinea, beat Somalia 3-0 and Uganda 2-1 in their final four FIFA World Cup qualifying matches between September and October.
