Team News
Kolkata Knight Riders: Expect some major changes to the side as the Super Giants press the emergency button. This is a big match for them to win as they don’t want to go into their 5th match of the season without a win. Ajinkya Rahane is likely to move down the order to allow the Kiwi opening pair of Finn Allen with Tim Seifert to have a crack at building a strong opening partnership.
Possible XII: Ajinkya Rahane (c), Finn Allen, Cameron Green, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Rinku Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Anukul Roy, Sunil Narine/Rovman Powell, Varun Chakaravarthy, Vaibhav Arora, Kartik Tyagi, Blessing Muzarabani.
Lucknow Super Giants: The Super Giants’ poor start was improved with Rishabh Pant dropping down to No 3 in the order, but their top-order will be looking to build on their contribution, as they have scored just over 300 runs in their opening two matches.
Possible XII: Aiden Markram, Mitchell Marsh, Rishabh Pant (c), Nicholas Pooran, Abdul Samad, Mukul Choudhary, Manimaran Siddharth, Avesh Khan, Mohammed Shami, Digvesh Singh Rathi, Prince Yadav, Ayush Badoni.

- Kolkata Knight Riders’ Blessing Muzarabani (4/41) knocked over 3 of the Sunrisers’ top 4 batters.

Match Analysis
There has been a lot of rain around the stadium and it should continue through to match day morning, but we’ll hopeful have a full 20-over-a-side match as play is set for an evening finish. With plenty of moisture trapped under the surface there should be early life for the quicks, but as the ball gets scuffed up the runs should flow.
With plenty of rain clouds likely to be hanging around after the start of the match Mohammed Shami is a major weapon for the Super Giants and could demolish the struggling Knight Riders top order on what should be a grassy Eden Gardens track. His tight control of line and length, combined with his ability to move the ball, should make it a fascinating contest in the opening overs.
With neither top-order in great form we’re likely to see scores below the ground’s average 1st innings score of 170, with the side chasing winning around 55% of matches. However, its short back-and-sides boundaries make fast-scoring and big totals a real possibility, especially for the likes of Finn Allen and Rishabh Pant.
With the balance between bat and ball set to be fairly even this should be a fascinating match to watch but difficult to call either way.
Betting Markets to Watch
Player Performance
Finn Allen is backed to be the Knight Riders’ best batter after his 33-ball century at Eden Gardens against South Africa in the T20 World Cup.
Score Over/Under Runs
Angkrish Raghuvanshi’s strong run of form makes him worth backing to score over 31.5 runs.
Best Knight Riders Bowler
Blessing Muzarabani followed up a superb T20 World Cup by taking 4/41 in the loss to the Sunrisers. He has taken 19 wickets in his last 9 T20s and is definitely one to back to take some wickets.
Best Super Giants Bowler
Mohammed Shami’s superb form and track record at Eden Gardens makes him a shoe-in to return the best figures with the ball for the Super Giants.

Verdict
Angkrish Raghuvanshi is backed to score over 32+ runs. Blessing Muzarabani is my call as the best Knight Riders bowler, while Finn Allen is backed to be the Knight Riders’ best batter.
Mohammed Shami took 2/9 in the win over the Sunrisers, knocking over both openers off his 1st 7 deliveries and is backed to be the Super Giants’ best bowler in the match.
