TS Galaxy vs Polokwane City Predictions

TS Galaxy are in very poor form, winless in their last six PSL games while Polokwane City have also struggled, winning just once in their last six. Both are struggling for goals, but Polokwane have been better on the road than at home. I am backing an away win to nil.

TS Galaxy have scored 2 goals in their last 6 PSL matches.

TS Galaxy have lost to nil in 4 of their last 6 PSL matches.

TS Galaxy lost their last PSL match 6-0 to Orlando Pirates.

Polokwane City have failed to win in their last 3 PSL matches.

Polokwane City have scored 3 goals in their last 5 PSL matches.

Head to Head

These two have met five times, each winning once while there have been three draws. In November last year, they drew 0-0.

TS Galaxy Form

TS Galaxy are currently 12th on the table with no immediate threat of relegation; however, they are just seven points clear and a good run from those below them could potentially still put them in danger with eight matches to play.

Over their last six Premier Soccer League matches, TS Galaxy have only picked up one point – a 1-1 draw away to Stellenbosch on 13 March. They lost the other five, scoring just one goal in the process.

In their last match, almost three weeks ago now, TS Galaxy were thrashed 6-0 at home by Orlando Pirates. It was a shocking performance and one that spells trouble for the club if they do not start picking up a few points.

Polokwane City Form

Polokwane City have quietly gone about their season and are currently placed seventh on the table. While a top eight finish will be seen as success, they are only one point clear of ninth place.

However, while most clubs have played 23 games, Polokwane have played just 21 – winning seven, losing six and drawing eight of them.

Polokwane City are winless in their last three games and have managed just one win in their last six PSL fixtures. In late January and early February, Polokwane drew twice at home against Orbit College and Siwelele before beating Magesi away.

That was followed by a 2-1 loss at home to Orland Pirates and was followed by a 0-0 away draw against Sekhukhune United. Last time out, on 21 March, Polokwane City lost 1-0 at home to AmaZulu.
