The Super Giants have enjoyed a fantastic first season in the IPL thus far. They are currently second on the table with six wins from eight, but by the time this game starts they could be third.
Last time out the Super Giants condemned the Mumbai Indians to their fifth straight defeat. Batting first, they scored 199-4 in 20 overs as KL Rahul smashed an unbeaten 103 off 60 balls.
The Mumbai Indians ended on 181 thanks to some superb bowling by Avesh Khan. He ended with figures of 3-20 after four overs.
Lucknow Super Giants Injuries
The Lucknow Super Giants have made a fine start. The form of their batsmen, in particular KL Rahul will be very pleasing. Minimal changes are expected.
Royal Challengers Bangalore Form
RCB back move above the Super Giants with a win here. They have an identical record of played eight, won six and lost two.
The Challengers, much like last season, have made a good start as they seek their first ever IPL title. They scored 189 runs batting first in ther last match against Delhi Capitals.
Glenn Maxwell scored 55 but the star of the show was once again Dinesh Karthik. The mercurial hitter smashed 66 off 34 balls to lead the RCB to an above par score.
Josh Hazelwood was fabulous with the ball, taking 3-28 in four overs as the Capitals fell 16 runs short.

The top three batsmen will be a bit of a concern with none of them in particularly good form. They are likely to stick with them for now but if poor showing continue, changes may be required.
