The Bangladesh attack all bowled well as they reduced Afghanistan to 40/4 in the seventh over. Tanzim Hasan Sakib (2/34) and Rishad Hossain (2/33) were the best of the Bangladesh bowlers as Afghanistan were restricted to 151/9 off their 20 overs.

Tanzid Hasan (51 off 37) and Parvez Hossain Emon (54 off 37) got the Bangladesh innings off to a perfect start by adding 109 for the first wicket as they set up the six-wicket win.
