The 3-yr-old Diaval looks the one to beat in the opening race after finishing fourth on debut at Scottsville earlier in August. Maggiano and Sound Of Freedom are both close in the market, but Diaval gets the vote to build on that first run.

Race 3 – Runthruthejungle

Jockey: Serino Moodley | Trainer: A. J. Rivalland

The 4-yr-old Runthruthejungle brings consistent recent form into Race 3, with his last two runs producing third and second-place finishes. He was second at Scottsville on 9 August and looks well placed to go one better. Trip To Venus and Scott's Bar look the main threats.

Race 5 – Exocet

Jockey: Gavin Lerena | Trainer: M/M de Kock

The 4-yr-old Exocet looks the headline runner in Race 5 after winning two of his first three starts. His form figures of 1-5-1 show both promise and winning ability and he is favoured to hold off Vihaan's Web, Donquerari and Cavalry Commander.

Race 7 – Meerkat Moon

Jockey: Chad Little | Trainer: M. Dixon

The 5-yr-old Meerkat Moon has been in strong recent form, with figures of 1-3-3-1 across his last four completed runs. He won at Greyville in July and looks a leading player again, although Run Forest Run is locked with him at the top of the early market.
