Six of Argentina’s have been banned from the Rugby Championship after breaching COVID-19 protocols.

Pablo Matera and Santiago Medrano are the two first-team regulars who will not feature. The other four include Santiago Socino, Joaquin Diaz Bonilla, Felipe Excurra and Sebastian Cancelliere.

Australia have certainly turned the corner in terms of results. They were in a bad place a few weeks ago after three humbling defeats to New Zealand.

The Wallabies were magnificent in their two victories over the world champions Springboks. The catalyst for the 28-26 and 30-17 defeat was the return of experienced flyhalf, Quade Cooper.

Last week’s 27-8 victory over Argentina was just as impressive. Dave Rennie has somehow changed the Aussie fortunes in a matter of weeks and they will want to end the Rugby Championship on a high.
