Burundi vs Chad Predictions - Burundi to inflict another defeat upon Chad

In an exciting Africa Cup of Nations preliminary round qualifier, Burundi emerged victorious against Chad with a dominating 4-0 win in the first leg. Having ended a losing streak, Burundi appears confident in securing another victory in the second leg. Chad's current form, with losses in four out of their last five matches and a winless streak of 21 matches, presents a challenging scenario. The prediction leans towards a comfortable win for Burundi, likely with a 3-0 scoreline, as Chad struggles with defensive vulnerabilities.

Head to Head

Burundi defeated Chad 4-0 in the opening leg.

Burundi Form

Burundi snapped a four-match losing streak when they thumped Chad in their Africa Cup of Nations preliminary round qualifier last weekend, winning 4-0.

Before that, Burundi lost 1-0 to the Ivory Coast, 2-0 to Gambia, 1-0 to Togo, and 2-0 to Gabon in FIFA World Cup qualifying matches played in September and October last year.

The Swallows have lost four of their last five fixtures, with one draw. They scored four goals and conceded six.

Burundi will be pleased with their efforts in the opening leg, and they will fancy their chances of recording another solid victory against Chad in the reverse match to progress to the next round of the AFCON qualifiers.

Chad Form

Chad were outplayed by Burundi in their AFCON first-leg preliminary round qualifier last weekend, losing 4-0.

Before that disappointing loss, Chad lost 2-1 to Uganda and drew 2-2 with Mozambique in two international friendlies last November.

Les Sao have lost four of their last five fixtures, with one draw. They scored five goals and conceded 13.

Chad are winless in their last 21 matches and look unlikely to overturn such a large deficit in the second leg against Burundi.
