Al-Hilal vs Mamelodi Sundowns Predictions

Sundowns are a very good team, but they have not been as consistent this season as they have been for the last few years. Last weekend they drew to these opponents but they have also won their last two PSL games to nil.

Al-Hilal Form

Al-Hilal Omdurman plays in the Rwandan Premier League due to unrest in their country. They are currently top of the table with 11 victories in 15 matches.

They have five points from three CAF Champions League matches so far. A 2-1 home win over MC Alger preceded a 1-1 draw at St Eloi Lupopo in November. Last weekend, against Sundowns, Al-Hilal managed a 2-2 draw away from home.

Their league form has been even more impressive, although there has been no fixture for them since their draw against Sundowns last Friday.

Sundowns currently top the PSL table with 32 points from 15 games. They have won nine matches but are only three points clear of Pirates in third who have two games in hand.

The Pretoria-based outfit drew 2-2 at home last weekend against Al-Hilal. That has made it two draws and a win in their three CAF fixtures this season.

In the PSL, Sundowns have wont heir two matches since the conclusion of AFCON. They defeated Orbit College 2-0 last Monday before seeing off Sekhukhune United 2-0 away this past Tuesday evening.
