Leeds did nothing to inspire confidence in their loss to Arsenal last week while Newcastle showed plenty of fight against Liverpool with 10 men. The Toon have what it takes to win.

Leeds started the new Premier League season well, securing a 1-0 victory over Everton at Elland Road, with Lucas Nmecha converting a penalty in the 84th minute.

However, the Whites struggled last weekend, suffering a heavy 5-0 defeat at Arsenal, finishing the match with just 0.17 xG, 32% possession, and a single shot on target.

Daniel Farke’s side were also favorites in mid-week League Cup action at Sheffield Wednesday but fell on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time.

Newcastle have had a shaky start to the Premier League, collecting only one point from their opening two matches.

Leeds were demolished at Arsenal 5-0 last weekend then failed to bounce back against Sheff Wed during mid-week. I am backing Newcastle to claim their first victory of the season at Elland Road.
