2026/27 PSL Winner Odds - Sundowns favourites ahead of defending champions Pirates
The 2026/27 Betway Premier Soccer League launches on August 1st, with Mamelodi Sundowns entering as outright favorites (1.10) despite Orlando Pirates capturing the title last season. Kaizer Chiefs, under new leadership from Fernando da Cruz, offer enticing odds at 3.30 after noticeable improvements last year. Outside these top contenders, AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United are both long shots at 33.00, while other teams are even further out. Chiefs could provide the best betting value if their resurgence continues.

The 2026/27 Betway Premier Soccer League (PSL) gets underway on 1 August 2026. Mamelodi Sundowns, who have dominated the league over the last decade, will be eager to regain their title after Orlando Pirates won it last season.
Pirates shocked the country with a superb run to the PSL title last season. However, they are still outpriced by Sundowns who are paying 1.10. Pirates pay 1.40.
The value may come from the other Soweto Giant though in Kaizer Chiefs. The AmaKhosi are priced early at 3.30 with Easybet before you get to the long odds of AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United, both at 33.00. No one else is paying under 100.00.
Chiefs have a new head coach in Fernando da Cruz who supporters will hope can once again return them to their glory days. Chiefs, after a few poor campaigns, were much better last season, and if they can build on that, offer real value at 3.30.
