Orlando Pirates have officially secured their fifth off-season signing after securing 20-year-old left back Neo Rapoo from Siwelele.
Three more signings are also nearing completion, including for Golden Arrows' creative winger Siyanda Ndlovu.
Rapoo Arrives from Siwelele
With Deon Hotto ageing, Pirates have signed Neo Rapoo as they plan for the future. Bucs have beaten Kaizer Chiefs to the deal.
The Siwelele left back made 27 appearances last season in all competitions, with three assists to his name.
The defender was part of the South Africa Under-20 side that lifted the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title. He also featured in the FIFA Under-20 World Cup and looks like a great prospect for the future.
Pirates Beat Sundowns to Ndlovu Signing
Aside from Rapoo, Siyanda Ndlovu is reportedly about to sign from Golden Arrows. Mamelodi Sundowns were interested, but have instead signed Antonio Van Wyk from SV Ried.
Ndlovu created 59 chances during the 2025/26 season, the third-most in the division behind two Pirates players in Relebohile Mofokeng and Oswin Appollis.
Across all competitions, the 23-year-old winger scored four goals and assisted a further eight goals in 31 matches.
Two youngsters are also set to join Pirates in winger Faiz Abrahams and goalkeeper Dublin Boon from Stellenbosch.
