Royal AM vs Golden Arrows Predictions - Abafana Bes'thende to continue superb away form

Royal AM are unbeaten in five previous clashes vs Golden Arrows with three wins.

The sides last met in the Nedbank Cup in March as Royal AM won 3-1 after extra time.

Royal AM have been in poor form going back to April. Their last 16 matches in all competitions have yielded just two victories and they’ve lost four fixtures in a row.

Successive wins in rounds four and five preceded a steady 0-0 draw at Kaizer Chiefs. They lost 1-0 at home to Sekhukhune United and 1-0 away at Polokwane City after that. 

A cup exit followed as they were beaten 1-0 at Sekhukhune in the Carling Knockout Cup. Royal AM lost 3-1 at SuperSport United in their most recent match.

Veteran centre back Lesego Manganyi missed the last match with an injury. Veteran goalkeeper Hugo Nyame is back after eight matches out injured.

Speedy winger Mfundo Thikazi is pushing for a recall.

In their last match, Golden Arrows lost 3-0 away at AmaZulu. The defeat saw them eliminated at the quarter-final stage of the Carling Knockout Cup.

Coach Mabhuti Khenyeza could hand captain Thabani Zuke an outing at the back after long-term injury. Ismail Watenga is set to be recalled in goal.

Knox Mutizwa was substituted at half-time against AmaZulu. Ryan Moon and Lungelo Nguse are pushing to take the number nine position.
