Liverpool are in poor form and hardly laid a glove on PSG last week in the first leg. They then proceeded to struggler against Fulham in the EPL at the weekend. PSG are backed to secure victory.

Liverpool recently lost three straight matches, starting with a 2-1 defeat at Brighton. They then suffered a heavy 4-0 loss at Manchester City to exit the FA Cup.

The Reds were completely outplayed at PSG which puts their Champions League campaign on the brink. They ended with 3-18 shots and 0.17-2.35 xG, Arne Slot’s move to a back three having no effect.

Slot guided his side to a 2-0 victory over Fulham on Saturday. Teenager Rio Ngumoha opened the scoring before Mohamed Salah found the net, Liverpool allowing the visitors 19 shots at Anfield.

The manager talked about squad rotation after the win: "It was needed. Our schedule, three games in six days and two of them are PSG - that's hard.

"Looking at it two days ago I felt tired looking at it so what that means for the players - the physical part and also what it means for the mental part after losing 4-0 and 2-0."

Paris Saint-Germain have won five straight matches by 2+ goals, crushing Chelsea 8-2 on aggregate in the Champions League round of 16.

The Parisians returned to Ligue 1 action with a 4-0 win at Nice and followed up by beating Toulouse 3-1. Ousmane Dembélé scored twice and Gonçalo Ramos sealed the deal in added time.

Luis Enrique’s side carried that form into the Champions League quarter-finals, beating Liverpool 2-0 in the first leg. They had 74% possession, 2.35-0.17 xG and could have won by a bigger margin.

PSG had the weekend off and will be fresh for the second leg. Enrique said: "We know it's going to be incredibly difficult to play at Anfield.

"We'll suffer, but these are the moments when you have to be vigilant. It'll be difficult, but our mindset is the same, regardless of the stadium. We'll be going there to win."

PSG completely outplayed Liverpool in the first leg and I don’t think Anfield is going to make much difference here. The Parisians can hit the Reds on the counter attack and continue their charge in the Champions League.
