Frank de Boer’s side then beat Austria 2-0, Memphis Depay converting an early penalty with Dumfries on target again in Amsterdam.
Netherlands beat North Macedonia 3-0 to complete the sweep in Group C. Depay opened the scoring with Wijnaldum scoring twice in a comfortable victory.

Czech Republic came to the European Championships in poor form. They had lost 4-0 against Italy in a friendly before a 3-1 win against Albania.
Jaroslav Silhavy’s side started Euro 2020 with a 2-0 win against Scotland. Patrick Schlick scored both goals including an audacious effort from the halfway line.
The Czech’s followed up with a 1-1 draw against Croatia with Schlick opening the scoring from the penalty spot.
Czech Republic suffered a 1-0 defeat to England in their final group game. It was a match with few chances and they couldn’t find a way back after going behind in the 12th minute.
