Royal Challengers Bangalore IPL Squad Preview - Faf & Kohli raring to drive RCB to second IPL title

Finishing 6th last season was a major disappointment considering all the runs plundered by Faf du Plessis (2nd on the 2023 IPL runs list with 730 runs) and Virat Kohli (4th with 639 runs). They have beefed up their batting and added plenty of firepower to their bowling and should be a real handful for their opponents. If they fire well as a unit then this is a strong candidate to win it all this season.

Virat Kohli, set to play his 17th season for RCB, is back from a two-month break and is sure to be fit and firing as he prepares for India’s T20i World Cup. Faf du Plessis hasn’t been much in the runs since last season’s IPL, but he knows the conditions so well he is likely to find his form again this season. Supporting them will be Dinesh Karthik, Tom Curran, Cameron Green, Alzarri Joseph, Mohammed Siraj, Reece Topley, Will Jacks, Lockie Ferguson and Glenn Maxwell.
