Bowling first, Xavier Bartlett bowled superbly, taking 4-17 in nine overs. Australia held the West Indies to 231 runs.

Travis Head fell early in the chase, but Josh Inglis scored 65 off 43 balls. Once he was dismissed, Cameron Green and Steven Smith took Australia home inside 39 overs. Smith Scored 79 while Green added 77.

Australia may rotate in this game, but I doubt there will be more than a change or two.

West Indies Form

Batting first in the opening ODI of the series, the Windies struggled to get going. They lost four early wickets before Keacy Carty (88) and Roston Chase (59) put some respectability to the score.

A total of 231 was never really going to trouble Australia who chased the score down inside 39 overs. The West Indies bowlers struggled throughout to make any inroads on what was a reasonably flat surface.
