After tying their first match with Yorkshire, Lancashire went on a six-match winning streak before losing two matches in a row. They returned to winning ways in their most recent match, a six-wicket win over Nottinghamshire.

Nottinghamshire posted a decent 179/7 off their 20 overs, Tom Hartley picking up two wickets for 27 runs off his four overs.

Lancashire got off to a good start thanks to Keaton Jennings, which set the stage for a 114-run partnership in 10 overs between Steven Croft (61*) and Dane Vilas (55) to take their side to the brink of victory.

Durham have had a horror run, losing five of their last six matches… the only upside being the win over table-topping Lancashire.

Durham suffered another heavy defeat in their last match, losing to Leicestershire by 51 runs.

Leicestershire set the tone for the day by scoring 157/9 off their 20 overs. Andrew Tye was phenomenal with the ball, picking up five wickets for 38 runs off his four overs and reducing Leicestershire to 70/5 at the halfway mark of their innings, before Wiaan Mulder’s 54 rescued their innings.

In response, Durham never got going, Paul Coughlin top-scoring with 22 as they were rolled out for 106 in 16.4 overs.
