Madra Rua has been threatening to break his maiden status and gets another excellent opportunity in the opening 1300m contest. He has finished second, third and fourth in three of his last four outings and is the highest-rated horse in the field on an official mark of 73.
The four-year-old tries the Polytrack for the first time, but iRace expects the well-bred gelding to prove too good for this opposition. Madra Rua is also one of Winning Form’s four best bets on the card.

Ingqwele remains in excellent form and comes into the 1600m handicap with form figures of 1-1-5-3-3. The five-year-old is already a course-and-distance winner and is rated 89.
Ingqwele should make another bold bid and is preferred ahead of the consistent Too Late My Mate. Winning Form ranks Ingqwele as one of its four strongest bets at Fairview, while Racing TV also makes him its Timeform selection for Race 4.
Race 5 – New Day (3)

New Day looks the standout selection of the afternoon after producing a dominant victory on her latest start. The three-year-old has won three of her four most recent starts and carries an official rating of 86 into this 1600m handicap.
She receives weight from several older rivals and again teams up with Richard Fourie. New Day is Winning Form’s Top Bet for the meeting, while Racing TV and iRace also select her to win Race 5.
