Georgia face Canada in the World Rugby Nations Cup, with Georgia tipped to cover the handicap. Georgia have won 7 of their last 8 matches and all three of their Nations Cup fixtures this year, including a 38-17 victory over Canada in 2025. Canada have struggled for consistency, losing 5 of their last 8 games and sitting fifth in their pool. The head-to-head record also favours Georgia, who have won the last three meetings.

Georgia Form

Georgia performed well during their opening rounds of the 2026 World Rugby Nations Cup in July. They defeated Uruguay 41-34, Samoa 33-12, and Chile 49-22.

The Lelos are in first place in the European-African-Asian Pool with 14 points after three rounds.

Before that, Borjgalosnebi had a solid run of results at the 2026 Rugby Europe Championship, thumping Switzerland 54-3, the Netherlands 61-12, and Spain 42-30 in the group stages. They then defeated Romania 53-30 in the semi-finals but fell short against Portugal in the final, losing 19-17.

Georgia have been in great shape this season, winning seven of their last eight matches, giving them the advantage to come out on top against Canada and win their fourth Nations Cup match in a row.

Canada Form

Canada have had mixed fortunes in the opening fixtures of the 2026 World Rugby Nations Cup in July. They drew 42-42 with Spain and lost 38-14 to Portugal before beating Zimbabwe 23-19.

Les Rouges are fifth in the Americas-Pacific Pool with seven points from three matches.

In September, the Canucks lost 45-29 to Fiji in the Pacific Nations Cup semi-finals before edging North American rivals the USA 19-16 in the third-place play-off match.

Canada have produced inconsistent performances recently, losing five of their last eight fixtures, and had no answer in their previous match against Georgia, losing 38-17 to their opponents last year.
