The article presents football betting tips for upcoming matches. Manchester City is backed to win with a clean sheet, reflecting confidence in their defensive strengths. The Everton vs Chelsea match is forecasted to have under 2.5 goals, suggesting a low-scoring contest. Additionally, goals for both sides are expected in the Brentford vs Liverpool and Fulham vs Hull games. These predictions provide a clear outlook for those looking to place informed football bets.

English Premier League Predictions, Round 7

Everton vs Chelsea

Everton remain unbeaten after six league fixtures and have taken one victory and four draws from their last five matches in the league, including a 1-0 win against Ipswich and a 2-2 draw at Hull. David Moyes’ side have proved difficult to beat, but Chelsea arrive after thrashing Bournemouth 5-1.

The visitors have won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five league games. João Pedro scored twice against Bournemouth, with Jordan Henderson also netting a brace and Morgan Rogers adding another.

Everton’s defensive resilience makes this an awkward assignment for Chelsea, whose last five games have featured plenty of goals. Both teams to score and under 2.5 goals are interesting betting markets.

Brentford vs Liverpool

Brentford are unbeaten in their last five league matches, recording a 3-0 victory over Chelsea and draws against Leeds, Sunderland, Bournemouth and Aston Villa. Kristoffer Ajer and Yehor Yarmoliuk scored in the 2-2 stalemate at Villa Park.

Liverpool have picked up two wins, two draws and a defeat in their last five league matches. A 3-0 defeat at home to Manchester City exposed their defensive frailties, although a midweek 6-3 Champions League victory over LASK included a Bradley Barcola hat-trick to lift their confidence.

The hosts’ resilience should make this a tight contest with a Brentford double chance and both teams to score meriting consideration.

Fulham vs Hull City

Fulham are still searching for a first Premier League win this season, having drawn two and lost four of their league matches this season. Their latest setback was a 2-1 defeat at Ipswich, although draws against Liverpool and Manchester United suggest they can compete with stronger opposition.

Hull have made a more encouraging return to the top flight by winning once, drawing three times and losing one of their last five matches in the league. A 2-2 draw with Everton followed earlier stalemates against Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Fulham have struggled defensively while Hull have shown they can find goals against established teams. Both teams to score looks a strong option.

Manchester City vs Ipswich Town

Manchester City have won all six of their Premier League games this season, with their latest success a commanding 3-0 win at Liverpool, with Erling Haaland, Jérémy Doku and Rayan Cherki scoring magnificent goals. Haaland leads the league scoring race with six goals, although City suffered a 4-2 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in midweek.

Ipswich have won two and lost three of their last five league matches, most recently beating Fulham 2-1. The visitors are capable of an upset but face the division’s strongest early-season form team. City to win with over 2.5 total goals or Haaland to score twice are higher-return markets worth considering.

Verdict

I’m backing under 2.5 goals between Everton and Chelsea, goals for both sides in the matches between Brentford and Liverpool as well as Fulham and Hull, while Manchester City are backed to win with a clean sheet.
