Leeds vs Wolves

Bottom-of-the-table Wolves need 6 wins in 6 and a lot of luck to avoid the drop and they’ve been fighting but they’re all but done. Leeds are 6 points above the drop zone but can’t rest just yet.

Wolves did brilliantly to beat top 6 sides Aston Villa and Liverpool in back-to-back matches, but they lost 3 days later to Liverpool in the FA Cup before drawing with Brentford and losing to West Ham.

Leeds have lost just twice in their last 10 matches and are undefeated in 5, with 3 wins and 3 clean sheets. Their defence at home is super tight while Wolves on the road have just 1 win in 15, and that against Grimsby in the FA Cup. I’m backing a win to nil for the home side.

Newcastle vs Bournemouth

Newcastle are all but safe from relegation, while Bournemouth are 1 win away from the European places. Bournemouth are undefeated in 11 matches, beating Arsenal 2-1 away in their last match. They are also undefeated in their last 6 matches on the road.

Newcastle have lost 6 of their last 10 matches, including the last 3 matches on the bounce, so their confidence should be as low as their form. They have been scoring goals and recently beat Chelsea, Man United and drew with Barcelona. I’m backing a Bournemouth win with both teams to score.

Spurs vs Brighton

So much to play for with Brighton within 2 points of a place in Europe next season, while Spurs are in the drop zone, but a win would lift them clear.

This isn’t the weekend for a Spurs revival, however, as they have lost 8 of their last 10 matches, along with 4 of their last 5 in the League. They’re struggling to score goals and haven’t won at home in the League in 8 matches.

Brighton have won their last 3 matches on the road in the Premier League, keeping clean sheets in all 3 matches. This should be a Brighton win to nil, but with their home crowd behind them Spurs are likely to squeeze a desperate goal out of this clash

Chelsea vs Manchester United

Neither side has been dependable this season, although United have done well to scrape up to 3rd place while Chelsea are clinging onto 6th spot. Chelsea have lost 4 of their last 5 League matches, while United have done slightly better, winning 2, losing 2 and drawing 1.

Chelsea have lost their last 3 League matches by a combined scoreline of 7-0. They also recently went out of the Champions League after losing 5-2 and 3-0 to PSG, so they aren’t looking very competitive at this late stage of the season. United have lost just 2 of their last 11 matches, including wins over Man City, Aston Villa and Arsenal. They should give Chelsea a pounding.
