Crystal Palace vs Wolves

Wolves have lost more matches than any other side in the Premier League this season (19 out of 26), and they haven’t won on the road in the League in their last 13 games. They’ve also scored just 16 goals in 26 matches, so Palace fans are unlikely to be having sleepless nights over this fixture.

Crystal Palace have beaten Wolves at home for their last six matches and have scored against Wolves in each of their last seven home league games. Wolves come into the match ironically on the back of a 2-2 home draw against Arsenal and a 1-0 win over Grimsby in the FA Cup, but their form prior to that was terrible.

Palace have only won one of their last 10 games, so all in all I’m thinking Wolves might be buoyed by their last two matches to pull off a high-scoring draw as both sides throw everything at a match that holds little value for either side.

Notts Forest vs Liverpool

Forest are looking over their shoulder as West Ham are just one win behind them, so they are fighting to pull away from the relegation zone. Liverpool’s title challenge is dead, but they’re just three points behind a Champions League spot.

Forest have won two and drawn one of their last three matches against Liverpool, including a 3-0 win at Anfield in the League earlier this season. Liverpool are on a good run of form, winning four of their last five games, losing 2-1 away to Man City.

Forest have won just one of their last five League matches, losing one and drawing three, so I can’t see them challenging Liverpool, even with home ground advantage.

Forest have lost two and drawn three of their last five at home, while Liverpool have won three, drawn three and lost just one of their last seven matches away from home. Forest have been netting goals, so I’m going for a Liverpool win with Forest to score.

Sunderland vs Fulham

A mid-table clash with little at stake beyond pride and extra cash for finishing higher in the League. Neither side is doing well in the League, with Fulham losing their last three on the bounce, while Sunderland have three defeats in their last four matches.

Sunderland have lost just one of their last 13 home matches in the League, scoring 21 times. Their only loss was a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool in their last game. Fulham haven’t won away in their last four matches, losing their last three on the bounce, although the last two were against Man City and Man United.

The signs are strong for a Sunderland win, with three or more goals a strong possibility as neither side should be too concerned about defence.

Spurs vs Arsenal

Spurs are uncharacteristically down in 16th place, just five points clear of the drop zone having lost three and drawn two of their last five matches. Arsenal have a superb record this season, winning 17 of their 27 games and scoring 52 goals to 20. Despite their poor form, Spurs haven’t struggled for goals and have scored 36 to 37 this season.

Arsenal have drawn their last two matches in the League as the pressure of leading the table seems to be taking a toll on their players. Spurs drew 2-2 at home against Man City and then lost 2-0 away to Man United and 2-1 at home to Newcastle, so their form isn't great, but they are looking resolute.

Spurs did beat Dortmund at home in the Champions League before holding City to a draw, so they are no pushovers. Arsenal’s last two draws were against seventh-placed Brentford (1-1) and Wolves (2-2) in their last game. With Spurs having home ground advantage for a London derby, I’m backing a score draw as the heat rises for Arsenal as they seek that elusive title.
