Senegal are a regular at World Cup’s but they face a real challenge this time around. They are currently third on the table with two wins and three draws in five games.

Senegal are just two points off Sudan at the top and if results go their way, they could go top by the end of Tuesday, however, consistency has been a problem for them of late.

Last week, Senegal managed a 0-0 draw in Sudan after beating Liberia in the Africa Nations Championship towards the end of December last year.

Togo are fourth in Group B but five points behind Senegal who are third. If Togo have any hope of making the World Cup, this is close to a must-win game.

However, of their five matches thus far, Togo have drawn four and lost once. Scoring goals has been a problem for some time and I’m not sure there is a solution to be found just yet.

Last week, Togo drew 2-2 at home with Mauritania. It was an exciting contest with Thibault Klidje putting Togo ahead before Mauritius scored twice. Ahoueke Denkey found the equaliser in the 69th minute.
