Bayern Munich vs Bodo/Glimt

Bodo/Glimt pulled off some super results last campaign but you’ll need to search long and hard to find anyone eager to back them to win or even draw away to the Bundesliga giant. Bodo are unbeaten in their last 20 matches, winning 18, with 17 goals in their last seven matches. In that time they haven’t faced a side anywhere near the quality of Bayern, who won their last eight matches before a 0-0 draw away to Schalke.

Bayern have scored 37 times in their last nine matches. They have won 18 of their last 22 matches at home and should put Bodo away with ease, although the Norway side have scored 57 goals in their last 20 matches, scoring in every match, so backing a Bayern win with both teams to score looks the strongest option.

Como vs RB Leipzig

Como are sitting fourth in the Serie A after starting their campaign with two wins and a draw, beating Genoa 4-1 away from home in their last match. Como have lost just one of their last nine home matches, keeping four clean sheets and conceding just nine goals to 19 scored.

RB Leipzig don’t travel well, losing six of their last eight matches on the road, scoring one goal or less in six of those matches. They’ve lost three of their last five matches, but their goal-scoring record is good so this is stacking up like a Como win with both teams to score.

Manchester United vs Sabah Baku

A win for Sabah Baku will pay out at a whopping 16.50, but the chances of the Azerbaijan side avoiding defeat are summed up in United’s current win odds of 1.13. They have little experience against top quality sides so despite winning nine of their last 11 matches they should take a pounding at Old Trafford.

The last time they failed to score was 17 matches ago and with United conceding 14 goals in their last nine matches with just one clean sheet I’m backing Sabah Baku to grab at least one consolation goal as they go for broke to create some happy memories of one of the biggest matches in their history.

There should be a glut of goals but the only decent payout is for five or more goals (2.37), so it seems a better bet to go for a United win with both teams to score.

Slavia Prague vs Lens

The odds on this match are tight, with the two sides well matched, but recent form has me backing the home side to take the three points.

The visitors have lost three of their last five matches while Slavia Prague have seven wins and two draws from their last nine matches. Slavia’s home form is strong, winning five of their last six matches while Lens have just two wins from seven matches on the road.

I’m backing a Bayern Munich win but with Bodo/Glimt to score, and the same bet applies to Como as they host RB Leipzig.

Manchester United to also concede in their home win over Sabah Baku, while Slavia Prague are backed to take a tight win over Lens.
