A win on penalties after a 2-2 draw against Eswatini saw them qualify to face the hosts in the final. The match ended 0-0 with Senegal losing on penalties.

Togo Form

Togo failed to qualify for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations as they finished bottom of their group. They lost four and drew two of their six matches.

Togo played two friendlies in June as they beat Guinea 2-0 before losing 1-0 to Gambia.
