Arsenal is predicted to have a strong performance against PSV in their Champions League clash, given their impressive home form and recent successes. The Gunners have demonstrated a knack for scoring goals, and this trend is expected to continue, making the possibility of a high-scoring game quite likely. Arsenal's recent fixtures show they are in favorable form, and despite some key injuries, their advantage at home plays a significant role in the prediction for this match. PSV will need to overcome inconsistencies to mount a formidable challenge.

Arsenal Form

Arsenal finished third in the Champions League group after winning six of eight matches. The Gunners have won five straight European fixtures and scored 20 goals.

Mikel Arteta’s side are undefeated in three consecutive matches in all competitions. They drew 0-0 with Nottingham Forest before thrashing PSV 7-1 in the Champions League.

The North London outfit couldn’t build on that victory and were held to a 1-1 draw at Man United. Arsenal had 1.83 XG and Declan Rice equalised following United’s opener.

Arsenal Injuries & Team News

Forward trio Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka are unavailable due to injury.

Defender Takehiro Tomiyasu is also injured and unavailable.

Ethan Nwaneri has scored in his last two Champions League outings and is expected to start.

PSV Form

Dutch outfit PSV are inconsistent in the Champions League after failing to win six of their last 11 games. Their only away victory this season was a 3-2 win at Crvena Zvezda.

PSV beat Juventus 5-2 on aggregate in the play-off round before losing three matches in a row. 2-1 and 3-2 defeats came against Go Ahead Eagles and the Farmers then lost 7-1 against Arsenal.

Peter Bosz’s outfit responded with a 2-1 home win over Eredivisie win over Heerenveen. Ismael Saibari and Guus Til put PSV 2-0 up before they conceded in the final 20 minutes.

PSV Injuries & Team News

Lucas Pérez is ineligible and won’t feature.

Midfielders Esmir Bajraktarevic and Malik Tillman and forward Ricardo Pepi are ruled out.

Verdict

Arsenal are good at home and can control this second leg clash against leaky PSV. There is value on Gunners victory and over 2.5 goals in the Champions League.
