The Qalandars come into this match after a heavy 53-run defeat to Guyana Amazon Warriors. Guyana batted first and reached 164/9 in their 20 overs, despite losing Quentin Sampson early for just one run.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Mohammad Haris then rebuilt the innings with a 72-run stand for the second wicket. Gurbaz played the key knock, striking 65 off 35 balls, while Haris added 34 from 28 deliveries. At that stage Guyana looked on course for a total beyond 180, but Lahore pulled things back well as the middle and lower order failed to build on the platform.

However, the chase quickly went wrong for the Qalandars. They slipped to 65/5 inside nine overs and never recovered. Dwaine Pretorius and Gudakesh Motie did the major damage, with Pretorius taking two wickets and Motie claiming four as they dismantled the Lahore batting line-up.

The Qalandars were eventually bowled out for 111, falling well short in a result that dented their momentum after a strong start to the competition.

San Francisco Unicorns Form

San Francisco Unicorns are fourth on the Global Super League 2026 table, with one win and two defeats from their opening three games.

Hammad Azam has been their most consistent batter, leading their run charts with 146 runs, while Ghulam Mudassar has been their top wicket-taker with six wickets.

The Unicorns head into this fixture after a nine-wicket defeat to the Desert Vipers. Batting first they posted 151/7 from their 20 overs after a promising start from Tim Robinson and Connor Esterhuizen.

Robinson made 46 and Esterhuizen added 37 as the openers gave San Francisco a strong platform. However, once that partnership was broken the Unicorns lost momentum. Wickets fell in clusters, and they were unable to push towards a more competitive total.

Shadab Khan was the standout bowler for the Vipers, producing a superb spell of 4/13 to keep the Unicorns to what proved to be a below-par score.

Desert Vipers then took control early in the chase. Saiteja Mukkamalla and Zachary Carter shared a 74-run opening stand that effectively settled the contest. Mukkamalla made 52 off 42 balls, while Carter struck 55 from just 29 deliveries.

Rilee Rossouw added an unbeaten 38 as the Vipers completed the chase in the 17th over with nine wickets in hand. The result left San Francisco needing a quick response as they look to climb back up the table.
