Warwickshire vs Worcestershire

Warwickshire are having a shocking season, losing five of their six matches, while Worcestershire have won three and lost three. There has been something of a swing in fortunes, however, as Warwickshire won their last game while Worcestershire have lost their last two on the bounce.

This could be a tight match, but I’m backing Warwickshire’s Beau Webster to put a score on the board as he has racked up innings of 97, 23, 112, 49 and 64 in his last six knocks.

Sussex vs Surrey

Surrey have a 50/50 record this season while Sussex have lost four and won two of their six matches, so Surrey are favourites for the win, although they have lost three of their last four matches.

Dan Lawrence scored 94* in Surrey’s last T20 Blast match and in his next match in the County Championship he scored 218 and 101, so he should be full of runs.

Kent vs Nottinghamshire

Both sides have three wins from six, but Notts’ wins have come in their last three matches, so they are the form team. I’m backing Mohammad Ali to be Notts’ best bowler as he picked up 2/35, 3/27 and 3/25 in those three wins.

Hampshire vs Yorkshire

Hampshire are on fire after winning five of their six matches, but Yorkshire are also in form, picking up four wins with two losses. Hampshire are big favourites for the win, so the odds aren’t too appealing.

Yorkshire have passed 200 just once in their last five T20 Blast innings, scoring 135, 213/7, 161, 93 and 195/8 in their last five matches, so I’m backing this to be a low-scoring match.

A low-scoring match between Hampshire and Yorkshire, while it looks like runs for Beau Webster and Dan Lawrence, with Mohammad Ali backed to pick up wickets for Notts.
